LCD TV Service Mode Access

ผมเลือกซื้อ LCD TV อยู่ Google ไปมาก็มาเจอข้อมูลว่าเราอาจจะเข้า service mode เพื่อไปดูข้อมูลว่าเครื่องใช้มานานแค่ไหนแล้วบ้าง และเข้าไป set ค่าอะไรต่างๆได้มากมาย เลยเก็บเป็นข้อมูลไว้

Sharp:
LCD TVs

  • While the LCD is on, unplug the power cable.

  • Then while pressing the {INPUT} & {VOL -} buttons on the remote,
    plug the power cable back into the outlet.

  • When it powers up you will see a little "k" appear in brackets.

  • Then on the TV, press and hold {VOL -} & {CH -} down and release.

  • The Service Menu will be displayed.

  • Use {CH+} {CH -} buttons to navigate

  • Use {VOL+} {VOL -} buttons to adjust the value.

  • Turn the set off to exit the Service Menu.


MISC

  • Unplug the TV

  • Press and hold the {VOL -} & {CH+} buttons.

  • While holding the above buttons, plug in the TV.

  • The TV will turn on with the Service Menu displayed.

  • There are 5 category menus:
    Deflection - Signal - Feature - Fix Value - EEPROM

  • Use {CH+} {CH -} buttons to select a category.
    Note: Not all models will have 5 categories.
    Some will jump to 'Signal' category.

  • Use {VOL+} to enter the category.

  • Use {CH+} {CH -} buttons to select the item to be adjusted.

  • Use {VOL+} {VOL -} buttons to adjust the value.

  • Turn the set off to exit the Service Menu.


Enter service menu by first unplugging set, then while holding both input button and volume down button, plug TV back in. Within about 5 seconds, the set will power up (without pressing the "on" button); keep holding the input and volume down buttons until a small "K" appears in a box on the left side of the screen. Then press and hold the channel down and vol down buttons at the same time to enter the service menu.

Once the service menu is displayed on the screen, you can get the screen to display different levels of solid grey by pressing the number keys on your remote. i.e. press "1" to get a relatively dark grey, 2 for a lighter grey, and so on up to 6 which is a bright white screen; 7, 8, and 9 don't appear to do anything. Press any number a second time to return to the service menu...

press mute on the remote 3 times and hold then press menu button on the tv
scroll through menu by pressing channel up/down on remote, change value by pressing vol up/down
