บางทีเวลา้ใช้ firefox เพื่อเข้า web บาง web จะไม่มี error อะไรขึ้นแต่ไม่มีอะไร show ขึ้นมาเลย ผมแก้ไขโดย ไปที่ about:config แล้ว reset ทุก parameters กลับเป็น default ก็สามารถกลับมาใช้ได้ปกติคือเข้า web ได้ ยังไม่รู้ว่าเ้ป็นเพราะอะไร

หลังจากใช้เวลาศึกษาอยู่พอสมควรโดยอ่านจากหลายๆฟอรั่ม ผมคิดว่าอย่างน้อยจะต้องลง firewall + antivirus + antispyware ทั้งสามอย่างโดยที่ antivirus กับ antispyware นั้นควรจะต้องลงอย่างน้อย 2 ตัวโดยตัวหนึ่งใช้เป็นแบบ protect realtime run อยู่ใน background ตลอดเวลา ส่วนอีกตัวใช้ตรวจสอบเป็นครั้งคราวจะได้ไม่อิงกับ program เดียวเท่านั้น แต่ละส่วนผมแนะนำดังนี้ครับ firewall : zonealarm ใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลาย antivirus : nod32 ไม่กิน resources มากและ scan ได้เร็ว มี update บ่อยดีแทบทุกวัน ราคาไม่แพง ใช้ protect realtime ส่วนอีกตัวใช้ kaspersky personal antispyware : adaware + spybot s&d แค่นี้ก็น่าจะ ok มากแล้วล่ะครับ แต่ต้องอย่าลืม update บ่อยๆ ด้วยนะครับ เวปที่มีข้อมูลที่ดีที่น่าเชื่อถือได้เกี่ยวกับพวก antivirus, antispyware, firewall และ security ต่างๆ ที่ผมแนะนำที่น่าเข้าไปตรวจสอบ update ข้อมูล ก็พวกนี้ครับ แต่ web หลักๆที่ผมคิดว่ามีข้อมูลเยอะดีและมี links ไปที่ต่างๆเยอะดีคือ http://spywarewarrior.com/ โดยมีแนะนำการป้องกัน PC ที่ทุกคนควรมีที่ http://spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.ht

คิดตกแล้วเรื่อง bookmark scheme จะใช้ spurl.net เพื่อเป็นเสมือน backup ของ bookmark ของ browser และเพื่อให้ access ได้จากทุกที่ เวลา add bookmark ก็จะ add ที่ browser แล้วค่อยมา update เข้า spurl.net แบบ manually สำหรับ bookmark พวกนี้ใช้สำหรับอะไรที่สำคัญ bookmark ในระดับ address ของ website ไม่ใช่เป็นราย topic ของ website ทำให้ bookmarks ในแบบนี้คงจะไม่เยอะเท่าไรทำให้ tagging อาจจะไม่ค่อยสำคัญเท่าไรนัก ส่วนอะไรที่เป็น bookmark ทั่วๆไปหรือเป็น topic เฉพาะที่น่าสนใจหรือข่าวเด่นๆเป็นครั้งๆไป ก็จะใช้ del.icio.us/anuchit พร้อมทั้งจะได้ tag ได้อย่างเต็มที่เพื่อให้ search ได้ง่ายเพราะ bookmark ในลักษณะนี้คงจะมีเยอะมากๆ

Not sure whether you have noticed lately but now you can restore the blinklist backup file (in rss format). There is a new "import from blinklist" menu under the options menu at the top where you can do this. This has tempted me into using this since you can have a tag with spaces while in spurl.net you cannot. It's just the categories capability in spurl.net that still keeps me there.

ว่าจะเขียนเกี่ยวกับ truecrypt มานานแล้ว ผมว่าถ้ายกเว้นเรื่องที่ว่าต้องมี user level เป็นระดับ admin เวลาจะ mount files หรือ devices แล้ว อย่างอื่นก็ ok หมด secure มาก หลักการสั้นๆก็คือ truecrypt จะทำการ encrypt drive ทั้ง drive หรือสร้าง file ที่สามารถจะ mount ไปเป็น drive ได้ขึ้นมา (create volume) ข้อมูลที่อยู่บน drive หรือ file ที่มีการ encrypt นี้จะมองดูเสมือนเป็น random data ทั้งหมด ไม่มีทางที่จะพยายามดูด้วย hex หรืออะไรทั้งนั้น ทางเดียวที่จะดูได้ก็คือต้องให้ truecrypt ทำการ mount เข้ามาเป็น drive อันหนึ่ง ซึ่งก็จะต้องมี password ที่ถูกต้อง นอกจากนี้ในขณะที่ mount อยู่นั้น ข้อมูลทุกอย่างที่มีการเขียนลงใน truecrypt container นี้จะถูก encrypt ตลอด จะไม่มีการเขียนข้อมูลที่ถูก decrypt กลับไปใน container นี้แต่อย่างใด ข้อมูลที่ถูก decrypt เพื่อนำไปใช้งานจะผ่านทาง memory อย่างเดียวเท่านั้น เรียกว่าเป็นแบบ On-the-fly encrypt/decrypt วิธีการที่ผมจะนำมาใช้งานก็คือ ผมจะสร้าง truecrypt container ในแบบ file-hosted แล้วก็เก็บข้อมูลลงใน file นี้จากนั้นผมก็สามารถจะเก็บ file อันนี้ไว้ที่ไหนก็

ลองศึกษาหาข้อมูลจากอินเตอร์เน็ตว่าจะสามารถ disable services อันไหนของ windows xp ได้บ้าง ปรากฏว่าสามารถ disable ได้เยอะมาก สุดท้ายผม disable ไปมากกว่าครึ่งจากของเดิม และก็ทำให้ start windows ได้เร็วขึ้นพอสมควร เหลือ services ที่ให้ start อยู่แค่ตามรูปด้านล่าง มีสองสามตัวที่ต้องจดไว้กันลืมที่ไป disable แล้วมีปัญหา อันแรกคือ DCOM Server Process Launcher ซึ่งพอ disable แล้วเวลา start Microsoft Word แล้วจะมี error ขึ้นประมาณว่า cannot register the document แต่พอมาเปลี่ยนให้เป็นแบบ Automatic เหมือนเดิมก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไร แต่อย่าลืมเปลี่ยนแล้ว restart windows ด้วย อีกตัวหนึ่งคือ Print Spooler ซึ่งถ้า disable หรือ manual จะทำให้ printer ทั้งหมดที่ set ไว้หายไปหมด แต่พอ start service ใหม่ก็กลับมาเหมือนเดิม ส่วน service ที่ชื่อ Theme ถ้า disable ไปหน้าตาของ xp ก็จะเปลี่ยนไปบ้าง ถ้าไม่สนใจก็ไม่เป็นไร (just look and feel) [Update: May 28, 2006] เวลาจะ update windows ต้อง enable Automatic Updates กับ Background Intelligent Transfer? Services แล้วต้อง restart นะครับ start services เฉยๆไม่ได้

I found out how to solve problem with the Custom URI Permalinks in Wordpress now. Earlier when I tried changing the structure of the Permalinks to date and name based (basically more user-friendly url) on my local machine, I always got this error saying "Page not Found". Googled around and corrected the cgi_force_redirect and it still didn't work. On the hosting server it is OK though. Finally I found the way. You have to set the doc_root to your web path in the file php.ini. For example I change mine to "D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\". Then it works like a charm. Commenting it out doesn't work. Oh, don't forget to restart the IIS (iisreset /restart for a quick one).
