Remount Ejected USB without Replugging - OS X

You can use this command line to unload and reload the USB kernel extension.

sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext
sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext

Instead of ejecting, you can also use diskutil to unmount and remount later.

อย่างสรุปเลยนะครับ ผมต้องการเอา bookmarks ที่ผมเก็บไว้ใน del.icio.us มาแสดงใน sidebar ของ blog ผม โดยผมใช้ plugin ชื่อ aggrss สำหรับ wordpress ซึ่งเจ้า plugin ตัวนี้ต้องใช้ function จาก lastRSS (ทั้งสองไฟล์ผม save local ไว้ด้วย just in case ที่นี่เลยครับ aggrss.php.txt และ lastRSS.php.txt ) ขั้นตอนในเรื่อง plugin นี้มี 4 ขั้นตอนง่ายๆ คือ 1. สร้าง directory lastRSS ใต้ wp-content/plugins และ download lastRSS.php มาเก็บไว้ใน wp-content/plugins/lastRSS แล้วก็ 2. download aggrss.php มาไว้ในใน directory plugins สร้าง directory aggrss-cache ไ้ว้ใต้ wp-content (ถ้าต้องการเปลี่ยนให้เปลี่ยนได้ใน aggrss.php) อย่าลืม set ให้เป็น read+write ด้วย

Cannot Run eFilmLt.exe from CD

A friend of mine had this CT scan on CD and was having trouble reading it on his PC (sometimes it worked, sometimes not). And simply copying it to his hard disk enabled it unreadable. So I offered to debug why, and lo and behold, a quick Google search shows that lots of other people have reported similar problems (e.g., see  here ). It seems that this proprietary reader (eFilmLT.exe), made by Merge Software, looks for a valid binary “DICOMDIR” file that points to the metadata for the particular scan images on the CD (e.g., the patient name, date taken, image filenames, etc.). Why this isn’t a human-readable format like XML, I have no idea.
